Curved Fire Rated Glass

Curved fire rated glass brings flowing lines and distinctive shapes into commercial settings, whilst providing vital fire protection. Built with multiple layers of toughened glass and a transparent interlayer, the system suits curved walls/ façades, fire-resistant doors and internal partitions.

Single and Double-Glazed Options

Two main build-ups are available to meet varying design objectives for curved fire rated glass. A single-glazed construction suits internal applications that demand maximum light transmission, whilst a double-glazed version incorporates a cavity to achieve stronger thermal performance. Both have been rigorously tested for fire resistance and can be formed to match your required curvature.

Refined Aesthetics

Our precise forming processes allow control over multiple radii, opening up possibilities for sweeping partitions, overhead glazing, or other statement features. Despite its layered design, the curved fire rated glass maintains impressive clarity, particularly in the single-glazed configuration. Where temperature control is essential, the double-glazed build reduces heat transfer significantly, without compromising on natural light or bold curvature.

Proven Thermal and Structural Performance

The double-glazed option can reach U-values around 1.0 W/m²K to help meet stringent energy-efficiency targets, while the single-glazed variant remains thinner and lighter for simpler integration. Both configurations undergo impact testing and hold the necessary approvals from building authorities, ensuring each curved fire rated glass installation delivers a reliable blend of style, safety, and practicality.
