Invisio+ Longlisted for Glass of the Year at the Archello Awards 2026

Invisio+, the thermally broken structural glazing fixing system developed by IQ Glass and delivered by IQ Projects as part of specialist commercial glazing packages, has been longlisted for Glass of the Year at the Archello Awards 2026.

Designed to accommodate triple glazing and advanced glass configurations, Invisio+ provides a tested solution for commercial projects where large-format frameless glazing must meet demanding architectural, thermal and technical requirements. The recognition highlights the system’s potential across high-specification commercial developments, cultural buildings, hospitality projects and complex refurbishment schemes.

Supporting High-Performance Commercial Glazing

Commercial glazing packages require careful coordination between architectural design, structural interfaces, building performance and installation requirements. Invisio+ has been developed to support this process, combining a fully concealed fixing profile with verified performance at architectural scale.

The thermally broken fixing system allows large-format glass to be installed without visible framing, capping or supporting structure. When used with a Ug 0.7 W/m²K triple-glazed unit, the system achieves a verified Uw value of 0.5895 W/m²K, tested on an assembly measuring 3m × 6m. It can also accommodate glass panels up to 6m tall without internal mullions, supporting expansive glazed elevations and uninterrupted sightlines.

The system has also been engineered with long-term serviceability and environmental performance in mind. Its profiles are manufactured from 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium, with an embodied carbon figure of 0.89 kg COâ‚‚/kg. Full glass removability allows individual panels to be replaced independently of the primary fixing system, supporting future maintenance and reducing disruption to building operations.
