IQ Projects has been appointed to Maggie’s Liverpool, following previous glazing packages for Maggie’s Centres in Cheltenham, Wirral and North Wales. Maggie’s Centres are specialist cancer support buildings, designed to provide free practical, emotional and psychological support in carefully considered, light-filled environments.

The new appointment continues IQ Projects’ involvement in a series of healthcare projects where glazing plays an important role in how the buildings feel and perform. Across the previous Maggie’s Centres, glazing was used to maximise daylight, improve access, strengthen connections to outdoor space and meet the technical demands of busy healthcare settings.

These projects have included structural glazing, roof glazing, solar control glass, thermally broken glazing systems and slim sliding doors, each developed in response to the architecture of the building and the requirements of the site.

The appointment to Maggie’s Liverpool reflects IQ Projects’ experience in delivering technically resolved glazing packages for architect-led healthcare buildings, where performance, durability and clean detailing are all essential.
