designed and installed a contemporary frameless glass façade using large structural glass panes. This provided a new reception area to Byrne Groups recent headquarter facilities on Hampton Road in Teddington.
The commercial development IQ took on for construction contractors Byrne Group consisted of a structurally glazed infill extension and entrance canopy where an extensive refurbishment took place.
Fixed frameless structural glazing was used to create impressive frameless glass facades in the two upper floors of the new offices. Frameless glass facades provide a panoramic view out onto the garden courtyards. All of IQ’s structural glazing is completely bespoke to the design, therefore, creating a unique design appearance to suit these specific project requirements.
The structural glazing is a key contemporary design element to the renovation of this traditional building. The frameless walls of glazing on both floors act as a crucial light source flooding the office space with natural light, which has proven to gain the satisfaction of the employees and in turn increase their productivity.
The frameless structural glass perfectly complements the dark grey aluminium framing used throughout the refurbishment to the headquarters.
