Steel framed glass doors and curtain walling to prestigious Grainhouse, Covent Garden
Substantial London Office Renovation
Bespoke glazing package to Substantial Award-winning London office renovation of Grainhouse, by Barr Gazetas Architects, with steel framed glass doors, curtain walling from the basement and throughout the five storey Victorian building.
In order to maintain the original character and add elegance to this multi-use historic building using steel and aluminum framed doors and windows, great attention to detail was required around the cills and frames so that they interfaced seamlessly with the surrounding structures and finishes.
IQ Projects was commissioned to design and supply a substantial bespoke glazing package to Grainhouse, a former Victorian seed house in London’s Covent Garden owned by Hines, maximising natural light while adding timeless glamour referencing its Victorian era.
