The residential units have been redeveloped and modernised to include a number of high-quality glazing systems from IQ Projects, as well as redesigned to follow a minimal, clean interior design.

The glazing systems were all specified with triple glazing, to achieve enhanced thermal performance and ensure the building surpasses any performance requirements for many years to come. The bespoke glazing package for the redevelopment included systems from minimal windows^®, which are available exclusively from IQ Glass in the UK.

minimal windows slim framed sliding door systems were specified with the 4+ profiles, which are specifically engineered to accommodate triple glazed units without compromising on minimal frames and sleek design. The sliding glass doors were used here to form the walls of central courtyard designs within the ground floor apartments, as well as providing direct access to the landscaped outdoor areas.

Vertical sash windows have been used to create a light, bright stairwell within the building. Stairwells are often forgotten areas and the use of oversized glazing here brings a refreshing amount of natural light into the elegant space. The bottom half of the two-pane vertical sash window can be slid upwards for travel between indoor and outdoor areas, complete with a flush threshold for step-free access.

The frames have been specified in a black finish, to contrast the surrounding pale interior design and add dark accents into the otherwise neutral space. Fixed structural glazing was utilised in hallways and more narrow spaces, to introduce natural light and ensure no areas of the luxury redevelopment were left in the dark.

Fixed architectural glazing helps the occupants to forge a strong connection to the outdoor environment, whilst enhancing the functionality and even reducing the need for artificial lighting throughout the day. Structural glass stretches above the walls and can be seen overhead in the form of roof glazing, allowing sky views.
